When the weather turns bad, many people ride CDTA so they don't have to worry about driving. If you plan to take CDTA during a snow/ice storm, here's what you need to know:

(Albany, NY)     – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 21, 2013, buses will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule except for NX Northway Xpress Commuter service, which will not operate.

(Albany, NY) –The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is proposing that the Rensselaer Rail Station parking fares be restructured to be in line with area facilities including Albany Airport and Empire State Plaza. Parking revenue will go toward the repair and maintenance of the station, garage and the parking lots.

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, 2012, service will operate on a regular weekday schedule. On Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2012, service will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule. Regular weekday service will resume on Wednesday, December 26, 2012. 

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) has partnered with the Palace Theatre to sell bus passes starting this month further expanding access to CDTA services. CDTA passes available for sale include the 31 Day monthly Rolling Swiper pass, 10 trip pass and 3 day pass, and the new NX monthly Swiper(zones 1-3) pass.
