(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from approximately 4:30 – 10:30 pm, it will provide free transportation service for Saratoga Victorian Streetwalk attendees on all of its regular routes and three special shuttle services traveling from the Saratoga Springs Train Station, the NYRA lot on East Avenue and the indoor ice rinks on Weibel Avenue. Shuttle buses will run approximately every 20 minutes.   

(ALBANY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that it will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2012. Regular weekday service will resume on Friday, November 23, 2012. 

Students To Ride CDTA Services with ID Swipe 

(Albany, NY)  – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and Branford Hall Career Institute announced that the Institute has joined the universal access program, which allows students access to the entire CDTA route network using ID cards.

(Albany, NY) – To encourage the public to vote in the upcoming election season, the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will offer STAR customers free transportation service to the polls on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2012. All CDTA service will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Election Day. 

Albany, NY – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced it will institute a pilot program to charge a nominal fee for special event parking at the Saratoga Springs Train Station to be managed by Maiden Lane Parking. Revenue generated from pilot parking fee program will allow CDTA to continue providing capital improvements to the facility and grounds, add security measures for customer vehicles and improve traffic flow.
