CDTA TO REROUTE SERVICE DURING SOAPBOX DERBY EVENT
(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that beginning on Friday, June 7th at 6:00pm and through Sunday, June 9th at 6:00pm, CDTA service will be rerouted in downtown Albany during the Soapbox Derby event. Madison Avenue between Eagle St and Swan St will be closed. The reroutes are as follows:
Line 114: Eastbound- Left on Swan St to lower Swan St (along Bridge) into tubes to P-1 to Left on Madison Ave to regular route.

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Saturday, June 1, 2013, buses will be rerouted to accommodate the Freihofer’s Run for Women events. Madison Avenue, between Eagle and Swan Streets will be closed to all traffic.

CDTA Announces Memorial Day Service and Parade Reroutes

(ALBANY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2013, buses will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule. Regular weekday service will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. In addition, service will be temporarily rerouted to accommodate various Capital Region Memorial Day parades.

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is collaborating with several partners on the inaugural “Green Your Commute” Day on Friday, May 17, 2013, 11:00am – 2:00pm at Tricentennial Park to highlight alternate modes of transportation and invite the public to rethink how they commute. 80% of Capital Region commuters regularly travel to work in single occupancy vehicles.
