(Albany, NY) – To encourage the public to vote in the upcoming election season, the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will offer STAR customers free transportation service to the polls on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2013. All CDTA service will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Election Day.

(Albany, NY)  – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that Schenectady Operator Robert Rzeszuto placed 6^th in the 2013 annual New York State Bus Roadeo competition recently held on Long Island. A total of eighteen operators competed from transit agencies across the State.

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) Board of Directors today approved parking lot expansion and entrance and exit enhancements at the Rensselaer Rail Station. Construction is scheduled to begin within the next few weeks and be completed in November.
