Albany, NY (October 3, 2014) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Columbus Day, Monday, October 13, 2014, buses will operate on a regular weekday schedule including the NX Northway Xpress Commuter service.

ALBANY, N.Y. (September 9, 2014) – Senator Charles E. Schumer announced today the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will receive $15 million dollars in funding from the Department of Transportation’s TIGER (Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery) Grant Program. The funding is the first ever TIGER Award for the Capital Region and will be used to create a new state-of-the-art radio communications system to support CDTA’s growing ridership and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Network.

Customers were invited to tell their CDTA story online, at Capital Region summer events and through social media channels. The finalists’ stories will be voted on through September 6, 2014 to determine the top storyteller.

Stackrow has been nominated as one of the members-at-large for the American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) Board of Directors. The election will take place on October 11 at APTA's Annual Meeting & EXPO in Houston, TX.
