CDTA to Host Virtual Public Meeting for Title VI Program

Virtual Public Hearing to be held on Thursday, March 13 

ALBANY, NY (February 20, 2025) – The Capital District Transportation Authority will host a public meeting for its Title VI plan on Thursday, March 13, 2025, for all interested members of the public who wish to provide comments regarding CDTA raising its disparate impact threshold from 25% to 30%. CDTA is required by the Federal Transit Administration to regularly update its Title VI program, and due to changes in the region, CDTA is updating its definition of a Title VI protected community to better fit the region. 

The Title VI public meeting will be streamed via a Microsoft Teams Webinar beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13. There will be a presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. The presentation will be in both English and Spanish. CDTA is urging the community to register in advance of the meeting.
