Service Changes Effective Sunday, October 20, 2024

CDTA will also make seasonal changes on Monday, October 14, 2024

ALBANY, NY (October 10, 2024) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will make seasonal changes on Monday, October 14, 2024. CDTA will also make service changes to routes on Sunday, October 20, 2024. Adjustments are made on a regular basis in response to ridership trends, development patterns, as well as customer and employee input. Please review schedules and check trip times for the following routes: 

Service Updates:

  • Route #450 (Schenectady – Wilton via Route 50) – Some weekday trips will serve the Town of Milton.
  • Route #451 (Ballston Avenue/W. Saratoga via East Ave & Lake Ave) – All trips will start and end at the Stewart’s manufacturing and distribution plant. 
  • Route #601 (S. Amsterdam & Route 30) – Will no longer run on Sunday.
  • Route #602 (Amsterdam to Schenectady via Exit 26) – Someweekday trips will serve Locust Avenue and Amsterdam High School.
  • Route #804 (East – West Commuter) – Route will now serve more neighborhoods in downtown Glens Falls.

Seasonal Changes on Monday, October 14:

  • Route #876 (Glens Falls-Lake George Trolley) – Service will be suspended until Spring 2025.
  • Route #877 (Lake George-Bolton Landing Trolley) – Service will be suspended until Spring 2025.
  • Route #419 (Route 9/Lake George) – Service on this route will resume since the Lake George Summer Trolley Service is ending.
  • Route #411 (Glen St/Walmart) – Trips no longer extend to Lake George Village. Customers can use Route #419.
