On Demand Program Offers More Frequent and Direct Service
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (December 11, 2025) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) brought together local and community leaders on Thursday, December 11, to celebrate the recent launch of FLEX On Demand service in Saratoga Springs. FLEX replaced routes #451 and #452 and provides more frequent service and direct connections between any two points in the FLEX zone.
“Innovation is what CDTA is all about, and this mobility solution matches the needs of the community,” said CDTA CEO Frank Annicaro. “We want to thank our customers and the city for embracing FLEX, and we encourage residents to give it a try.”
FLEX in Saratoga Springs was launched on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Ridership has been consistent, and wait times have been 30 minutes or less. Customers can book their FLEX rides on the Navigator app or over the phone by calling (518) 482 – 8822. FLEX service operates from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays. The #452 still runs service on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
