Concert Shuttle Service to be followed by Weekend Trolley Service
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (June 3, 2024) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will be providing trolley service for the community and visitors for the 156th running of the Belmont Stakes. CDTA is providing mobility options to ensure attendees can focus on the fun and festivities of the Belmont Stakes throughout the week.
The trolley will run from Thursday, June 6, through Sunday, June 9. The trolley service is free for customers, courtesy of NYRA Bets and the Saratoga Casino Hotel. Trolley service will operate from noon until 10 p.m., offering convenient service to hotels and attractions along Broadway in downtown, with direct access to the Saratoga Race Course and the Saratoga Casino Hotel.
CDTA will also provide complimentary shuttle service for the “Belmont on Broadway – Blues Traveler” concert on Wednesday, June 5. Shuttle service will run from 3pm. to 11 p.m. from two park and ride locations. One shuttle will run between the Route 50 lot at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and the bus stop on Broadway at Congress Park. A second shuttle will run between the Wilton Mall bus stop and the corner of High Rock and Lake Avenues. Shuttles will run every 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
The public is also encouraged to utilize CDTA’s bike share program, CDPHP Cycle! There are both pedal and electric bikes available for rent.
