Capital Region Chamber Honors CDTA at Annual Dinner
ALBANY, NY (March 15, 2024) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) was honored to be named the 2024 ChangeMaker at the Capital Region Chamber’s Annual Dinner held at the Albany Capital Center on Thursday, March 14. The Chamber chose CDTA for this award because of how the Authority has transformed from a bus company to a mobility partner in economic development that connects our Capital Region communities and residents to opportunities.
“This recognition is a testament to our innovative thinking, and unwavering commitment to driving positive change within our organization and throughout the community,” said CDTA CEO Carm Basile. “CDTA exemplifies the spirit of the ChangeMaker Award by consistently going above and beyond for the community and thinking regionally about how we can impact those who live and work in the Capital Region. We would not have received this award without the vision of our Board of Directors and our more than 750 employees who make an impact every day.”
CDTA is the first government agency to receive the award. Other past recipients include Albany Medical Center, Regeneron, Mohawk Harbor, and more. CDTA would also like to congratulate Mona Golub, Vice President Communications and Public Affairs for Northeast Shared Services, for receiving the Chamber Champion Award at the event.
