Additional Spaces Ready For Holiday Travel Season Kick-Off
(Albany, N.Y.) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced today that construction has been completed for the new parking lot “C” at the Rensselaer Rail Station. The new parking lot, which carries an $8 daily rate, is located just north of the train station adjacent to existing parking lots “A” and “B”.

The top deck of the parking garage at the main entrance is the customer drop-off/pick up point. Limited, free short term (2 hour limit) parking is available on the top deck. The garage offers two levels of parking below the main plaza with covered access to the station. Lots A, B and C offer well-lit and secure surface parking on the north side of the station, just off East Street. The facility is served by CDTA Route #’s 114 and 224, while there are also six bicycle lockers for rent near the main entrance.

First half-hour FREE.
Each Additional Hour: $2.00
Garage – daily rate $12.00; 7 day rate: $50.00
Surface Lots A & C – daily rate $8.00; 7 day rate: $35.00
Surface Lot B – daily rate $7.00; 7 day rate: $30.00
