Video features safety, security and courtesy guidelines for its transit facilities and on buses
(Albany, NY) – TheCapital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) has released a video that demonstrates ways to ensure a safer travel experience on CDTA buses and through its facilities. The video, narrated by local personality Ann Hughes, offers safety riding tips, passenger courtesy guidelines and instructions for the provision of medical or police assistance.
CDTA ’s safety plan strategy encourages customers to “Take Pride in their Ride” by adopting safety techniques and following “If You See Something, Say Something” policies.
“Safety is always a top priority as millions of customers entrust us with their daily travels,” said CDTA Chairman David Stackrow. “This video is one element of our comprehensive safety enhancement strategy to help the public achieve the best travelling experience and to show new riders how easy it is to ride the bus. Building on our extremely successful internal safety and security program, we have extended these principles to the public.”
