CDTA ANNOUNCES START OF SARATOGA SUMMER TROLLEY SERVICE
(Albany, NY) –The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that the Saratoga Springs Summer Trolley service will begin on Sunday, May 27, 2012 and operate through Labor Day. CDTA will provide 7 day a week trolley service throughout downtown Saratoga.
The trolley ride features a scenic tour, coupled with a short audio narration about Saratoga of Saratoga Springs, making stops at several points of interest along the way including the historic Congress Park, the newly renovated historic Roosevelt baths, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the Saratoga Race Course and the Saratoga Casino and Harness Raceway. This year, the trolley route will extend to serve the Dance Museum on Tuesdays – Sundays.
Riders can board the Trolley for $1.50 each ride. CDTA prepaid passes are also accepted forms of payment.
