A Public hearing was held by the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and its subsidiary companies with respect to proposed changes to parking rates at the Rensselaer Rail Station.
CDTA will accept written comments from people who are unable to attend the hearings. Written comments can be mailed or emailed to CDTA at the following addresses by February 2, 2011:

The proposed changes are set forth below:
Rensselaer Rail Station Parking

Garage Rates – the daily rate will increase from $8.00 to $10.00. The rate for 7 consecutive days will be $40.00. The first hour will be free.

Surface Lot A – the daily rate will increase from $6.00 to $7.00. The rate for 7 consecutive days will be $30.00. The first hour will be free.

Surface Lot B – the daily rate will increase from $5.00 to $6.00. The rate for 7 consecutive days will be $25.00. The first hour will be free.

Customers with Disabilities – pay half the daily rate and half the rate for 7 consecutive days in the Garage.
