Routes 190 and 117 will align with evening court hours
ALBANY, NY (September 22, 2026) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is expanding transit access to Colonie Town Court, adding Monday and Wednesday evening service on Route 117 to better align with the court’s evening hours.
Beginning Monday, September 28, 2026, customers traveling to and from Colonie Town Court will have an additional transit option during evening court sessions. Route 117 will provide service on Monday and Wednesday evenings, making it easier for people to access the court and for employees to travel to and from work.
CDTA also restored Route 190 service in August 2026. The route provides service in the evening to Wolf Road, across from the Public Safety Center, offering another transportation option for customers traveling to the area. Together, the two routes provide evening transportation options that align with the Town of Colonie’s court schedule and help improve access to an important community service.
Public transportation plays an important role in connecting people with essential services, and we want to make sure our service is there when people need it,” said Frank Annicaro, CDTA Chief Executive Officer. “By aligning Route 117 service with Colonie Town Court’s Monday and Wednesday evening hours and restoring Route 190, we are providing customers with more options to get where they need to go.”
