Route #811 Will No Longer Operate to Town Hall on Thursday Evenings
ALBANY, NY (February 12, 2026) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is making service adjustments to improve customer access to Guilderland Town Hall on Western Turnpike.
Currently, CDTA operates Route #811 (Guilderland Shuttle) on Thursdays only, providing a connection between Crossgates Mall and Guilderland Town Hall on court days. Effective Thursday, February 26, 2026, Route #811 will be eliminated.
CDTA will launch a new FLEX point at Guilderland Town Hall starting Thursday, February 26. Available only on Thursdays between 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. within the Guilderland FLEX Zone, this service lets customers reach town hall any time during these hours, instead of just one afternoon trip. The cost to utilize FLEX is the same price as the #811, $1.50 per trip.
