A Message From Our CEO, Carm Basile:
As our country, our state, and the Capital Region come together to manage through this COVID-19 pandemic, I hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe.
Our attention, our priorities, and our work changed dramatically in a matter of two weeks. The Coronavirus and the immediate need for social distancing have modified everyone’s behavior. Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has issued daily guidance, executive orders, and directives to guide the activities of all New Yorkers. Transit systems like CDTA have been deemed an essential service and we have responded accordingly.
Our work is more important today than ever before. As a very necessary service, we will continue to operate and align our resources to demand. At the same time, we will protect every CDTA employee and customer by making decisions that are thoughtful, sympathetic, and compassionate. We will be better tomorrow than we are today.
Please be safe and take care of yourself and your family.
