Summit Highlights Industry Innovators and Brings Transit Leaders Together

ALBANY, NY (August 13, 2026) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) was proud to participate in the third annual TransDASH Performance Summit in Washington D.C., bringing together public transit leaders from across the country to share insights, discuss industry trends, and highlight the impact transit agencies have on the communities they serve.

TransDASH is a national performance dashboard that measures outcome-centered results, giving transit agencies, customers, and communities a clear view of the value public transportation delivers.

During the summit, CDTA was recognized with three performance awards:

· Top Performer Community Value 2025 – First Place

· Most Improved Community Values 2025 to 2025 – First Place

· Most Improved Employee Engagement 2025 – Third Place

“These awards speak to the value our community places on public transit and the impact CDTA has throughout the Capital Region,” said CDTA CEO Frank Annicaro. “Transit plays an important role in connecting people to jobs, education, healthcare, and opportunities while supporting economic and workforce development. At the heart of everything we do are our employees, and it is important to me that they know how valued their work is. We are proud to be recognized alongside our fellow transit partners, and we will continue looking for ways to push forward, improve performance, and drive progress throughout the Capital Region.”

The recognition reflects CDTA’s continued focus on delivering high-quality service, strengthening employee engagement, and demonstrating the value public transportation brings to the Capital Region.
