Effective Sunday, May 26, 2013, the following service changes went into effect:
Route #182 (Troy-Albany via Cohoes/Latham) – Route’s #129 (Albany-Latham) and #182 (Troy–Cohoes–Latham) will be merged into one route serving Troy, Green Island, Cohoes, Latham, Loudonville, and Albany. New Route #182 will provide a direct connection between Latham Farms and the areas listed above. Benefits for customers include later night service and new Sunday service on segments currently served by Route #129.
Route #’s 190 (Fuller-Wolf Road) & 370 – Time points for Route #190 (Fuller/Wolf Road) and Route #370 (Troy/Schenectady) will be shifted slightly at Latham Farms to better accommodate transfers.
Route #370 (Troy-Schenectady) – The westbound routing in downtown Schenectady will change slightly with vehicles taking a left on Erie Boulevard to Washington Avenue and onto Liberty Park.
Route #7 (Glenmont)– Two additional trips will be added from Glenmont heading northbound on Route 32 and South Pearl Street to accommodate work shifts for Durham School Services, County Waste, Kruger Industries, and the Center for Disability.
Route #530 (Rotterdam Square Mall Express) –An additional morning and evening trip will be added to reduce overcrowding.
Route #155 (Suburban Circulator) – Morning trips will be shifted to ensure connections with #12 Washington Avenue at Crossgates Mall.
Route #214 (Rensselaer-Third Street-Amtrak)– Service frequency will increase to 65 minutes due to current ridership trends.
Route #875 (Saratoga Visitors Trolley) – Service will now operate seven days a week from 12:00pm-8:00pm. Saratoga Trolley service will operate from May 26th through September 2nd.
