New parking rates at the Rensselaer Rail Station and Saratoga Springs Train Station went into effect on April 1, 2013.
Customers will still be able to park on the deck in front of the station free of charge for up to two hours for easy access to the station.
The new Rensselaer Rail Station parking rates are as follows:
12 garage
$8 lot a
$7 lot b
Parking will be free for the first 30 minutes in the garage and surface lots for passengers to drop off and pick up and then $2 for every hour of parking afterward until the daily maximum is reached.
Free 2 hour parking on Rail Station Platform deck will remain the same
Weekly Rates: Garage - $50, Lot A - $35 & Lot B - $30
A pilot program for $5.00 special event parking was instituted in fall 2012 at the Saratoga Springs Train Station. Effective April 1, 2013, this $5.00 Special Event fee became permanent.
