Due to a large event gathering at the Empire State Plaza on Tuesday March 01 2011 Madison Ave in front of the Plaza will be closed to all Commuter buses for the day from 5a-5pm, the following detour will be in place all day long.
Route 22 : All Southbound trips are regular route to Madison and Eagle continue S/B on Eagle to R/ Park to R/ South Swan, layover on Swan just before Madison Ave. Northbound trips from the layover pick-up on Swan just past Madison and continue to regular route.
Routes 19, 21, 35, 57, 214, 224,232, 233, 520, NX Buses (AM service to ESP):
All buses coming into downtown Albany will alight passengers at the corner of Madison and Eagle, continue S/B on Eagle to R/Park, R/South Swan to regular route.
Routes 19, 21, 35, 57, 214,224, 232, 233, 520, NX Buses (PM Service from ESP):
All buses leaving the ESP in the PM that use the highway are requested to exit for Downtown Albany and use local routes, to get to Madison and Swan for afternoon pick-ups, buses will use Eagle St S/B to R/Park, R/South Swan and then pick –up passengers on Swan just North of Madison Ave.
Routes 3, 30 WEST:
Regular route to Madison and Eagle continue S/B on Eagle to R/Park, to Myrtle to R/Delaware, L/Madison Ave to regular route.
Routes 3, 30 EAST:
Regular route to Madison and Delaware, R/ Delaware, L/Myrtle to Park, L/Eagle to regular route.
