Shuttle Service to Run from Two Lots in Downtown Albany on Sunday, June 11 from 10:30am-6:00pm
ALBANY, NY (June 9, 2023) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will provide free shuttle service as part of the Capital Region Pride Festival, being held Sunday, June 11 at Albany's Historic Washington Park.
CDTA will provide complimentary shuttle service to Washington Park from 10:30a.m. to 6:00p.m. on Sunday, June 11 from two designated locations. Those locations are:
- Elk Street parking lot, located behind the State Education Building. The pick-up location will be Elk and Hawk at the stop sign. Parking is free.
- Eagle Street parking lot, located at the corner of Eagle Street and Madison Avenue. Parking is free.
The public is urged to use this service to minimize the expected heavy traffic around Washington Park. The Capital Region Pride Parade is scheduled to kick off at 11:30 am, please arrive early because streets and intersections are closed to allow for the Parade.
Shuttles will run every 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic.
