CDTA Announces Changes to FLEX Service in Southern Saratoga County

Customers Will Begin Paying for Rides on September 30

ALBANY, NY (September 13, 2024) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will make changes to its FLEX On Demand service in southern Saratoga County beginning Monday, September 30, 2024. FLEX is CDTA’s popular curb-to-curb service that operates in specific areas where customers request an on-demand ride. 

After running a pilot program for the past year, FLEX service in southern Saratoga County will now cost $1.50 per trip. Customers can either pay with cash, use the “Pay as You Go” option in their Navigator app, or the “Frequent Rider Pass.” Customers can also purchase a Navigator card at the Price Chopper/Market 32 in Mechanicville, the Price Chopper/Market 32 in Clifton Park at Routes 146 & 146A, and at the Price Chopper/Market 32 Shoppers World at Route 146 and Plank Road.
