CDTA will hold Informational Session to Present Changes and Answer Questions
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (October 29, 2025) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will hold an informational session to discuss changes to CDTA’s service in Saratoga Springs. The informational session will be held on Wednesday, November 12, at 5:30 p.m. at the Saratoga Public Library. On Sunday, November 30, 2025, CDTA will be replacing routes #451 and #452 with FLEX On Demand Service. The #450 will still be in service. Customers will not lose any service in Saratoga Springs but will experience more frequent and direct service.
This FLEX service area will include most of the bus stops currently serviced by the #451 and #452, while also adding additional coverage, including Washington and Beekman Streets. Riders will utilize a “point-to-point” pick-up and drop-off method. Pick-up and drop-off locations will be found mainly on main roadways.
This new Saratoga Springs FLEX area will provide riders with more frequent service, around 30 minutes or less of waiting time, as well as direct connections between any two points. This change aligns with CDTA’s recently completed Transit Development Plan, which can be viewed at www. https://www.cdta.org/TDP
Customers can book their FLEX rides on the Navigator app or over the phone by calling (518) – 482 – 8822. To learn more about how FLEX works, watch a tutorial video here. The CDTA customer service team is available to help riders plan new travel options or answer any questions they may have. FLEX service would operate from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays. The #452 will still run service on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
