More rental locations added during National Bike Month
ALBANY, NY (May 17, 2024) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and CDPHP are excited to announce that beginning today, Friday, May 17, 2024, both electric bikes (e-bikes) and pedal bikes will be available to rent in the Town of Bethlehem.
“Bethlehem is excited to welcome the CDTA and CDPHP Cycle! bike share program into our community,” said Bethlehem Town Supervisor David VanLuven. “The bikes will be yet another fun and convenient way for people to get out to enjoy our beautiful town.”
There will be 12 to 15 bikes at three locations for customers to rent from. They include the Town Hall on Delaware Avenue, the Adams Street Parking Lot between Kenwood and Hudson Avenues, and the Town Park with a rack near the pool building. The CDPHP Cycle! team will also be at the Walk and Roll Fest on Saturday, May 18, to answer questions from the community and hand out promotional giveaways.
Season 8 of CDPHP Cycle! is currently underway and includes more than 600 bikes throughout the region, including 200 more e-bikes this year.
