CDTA can be the first stop to higher education. CDTA has partnered with area colleges and universities to provide students, faculty and staff with comprehensive transportation services. Each college has its own unique transportation arrangement tailored to their needs. Our fixed route and shuttle buses offer convenient service to colleges throughout the Capital Region. CDTA accepts your RPI college ID on the following bus routes:
22, 286, 29, 70, 80, 82, 85, 87, 289, 90 (Universal Access has just been added to your ID card. Students can now use all  CDTA bus routes with the exception of the STAR and NX services. Just swipe your ID through the farebox and your on your way.)

U Albany logo

The University at Albany (UAlbany) services operate along Washington and Western Avenue, linking the main campus, the downtown campus, Shopping malls and a number of other primary attractions and points of interest. UAlbany provides these services free of charge to students and faculty and staff when they show a valid UAlbany identification card. The link above provides a summary of the services provided.
