CDTA’s base fare is $1.50.
STAR base fare is $2.50.
What discount programs are available?
The Swiper card is still the best deal in transit. If your employer participates in the CDTA Corporate Swiper program, you can save even more money. Reduced cost or free Swiper cards are provided to eligible individuals through social service agencies, housing assistance organizations and the Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.
For more details, contact CDTA Sales at 437-6845, or visit our fares page. Senior citizens (65 and older) and customers with disabilities can ride for half the cost of the new base fare, or 75 cents. In addition they can purchase half fare Swipers and Day Cards.
Will CDTA offer any new fare products?
Yes, CDTA introduced a 31-day rolling pass to provide customers increased flexibility and convenience for the same price as a monthly 7-day Swiper. The rolling pass can be activated on any day of the month and is valid for 31 consecutive days.
