ONGOING RECRUITMENT: Experienced Technicians

Job Description:

To Qualify: We are looking for candidates with 5–10 years heavy-duty mechanic experience, bus and or truck preferred and/or a two-year technical degree in HD diesel mechanics. Experience in the following areas is preferred: Electronic control engines, transmissions, disc & air brake systems, electrical, computer diagnostics, independent suspensions and HAVAC. Must own complete set of tools and must pass our mechanical aptitude test. Valid NYS Drivers license with good record, CDL preferred. We offer a starting salary of $19.48/hour with excellent opportunity for advancement. A complete benefits package including: Health, dental and life insurance, earned vacation leave, paid holidays, pension plan and attendance bonus program . 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift availability a must.

Job Description:

Valid NYS drivers license
At least 5 years auto driving experience with a good driving record.
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass 19A medical examination
Excellent Customer Service Skills

We offer a paid training program, job stability, opportunity for FT advancement after training, and an excellent benefits package. In addition, we are currently offering starting salaries of $13.53/hr with increase potential to $19.32 in 18 months.

ONGOING RECRUITMENT: Service Technicians

Job Description:
CDTA is seeking full time service technicians to maintain transit buses in the Capital District. This includes cleaning and servicing our vehicles as well as maintenance of our physical locations. CDTA offers a paid training program and an excellent benefits package with an attractive pension plan. To Qualify:

Must have a valid motor vehicle license for a minimum of two years
Good Driving record
Must be able to obtain a CDL-B permit with passenger & air brake endorsements
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift availability a must.

Starting salary is $10.88/hour.
